Layout

Bwindi Lodge combines comfort and nature in an enchanting setting, nestled at the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The lodge comprises spacious, elegant cottages, each offering sweeping views over the surrounding jungle. Built with natural materials, it blends harmoniously into its environment. Common areas include a warm lounge with a fireplace, a convivial bar and a restaurant serving refined cuisine made from local produce. A spa is also available for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Located around a 5-minute walk from the starting point for gorilla tracking treks, in the Buhoma sector, it allows guests to begin their adventure with ease, without a long journey.
Together, these elements create an intimate, immersive atmosphere, ideal for an authentic, luxurious experience.

Rooms

Bwindi Lodge's twenty or so rooms, known as “bandas”, have recently been renovated to offer luxurious comfort at the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The lodge has 10 bandas, including 8 standard (6 doubles and 2 twins) and 2 deluxe (all doubles), each offering a spectacular view over the surrounding jungle. Every banda is fitted with a private bathroom with modern toilet, double vanity, and a shower with hot and cold water. A private terrace allows guests to take in breathtaking views of the forest. For an exclusive, tailor-made experience, each guest benefits from a personal butler service, ensuring constant attention.

SPA

The Forest Spa at Humula mw’ Ishamba has two massage rooms and a sauna. All massages are offered free of charge, subject to booking and availability.
