Wild spaces and exceptional retreats

Tailor-made trip to Sweden and Lapland

Boreal forests stretching as far as the eye can see, countless lakes, wild rivers and Baltic archipelagos: in Sweden, nature keeps its full place.
Here, travel follows the rhythm of the seasons, far from frequented routes, in places where silence is part of the journey.

The regions of Sweden
North of the Arctic Circle, Swedish Lapland unfolds mountains, forests and rivers, across the lands of the Sámi people. The Laponia region is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site there. Further south, lakes, villages with Scandinavian charm and the Stockholm archipelago invite you to a gentler Sweden, to discover by boat or on foot.

Our way of travelling in Sweden
We favour small-scale addresses, where you feel at home: a private retreat all to yourself, a characterful lodge, a house by the water or a safari camp deep in the forest. Depending on your wishes, the stay can be experienced in complete freedom, without a fixed programme, or with a guide for activities along the way. Sweden’s right of public access to nature offers a rare playground.

A journey designed with you
Each journey is built from your wishes, the season and your way of travelling, not from a catalogue.

5 good reasons to visit Sweden

  • SCANDINAVIA’S BEST-KEPT SECRET
  • A WILD COUNTRY WHERE NATURE REIGNS
  • AUTHENTIC ENCOUNTERS AND SHARED MOMENTS
  • DISTINCTIVE ADDRESSES BETWEEN SEA, LAKE, RIVER & BOREAL FOREST
  • SUMMER OR WINTER, SWEDEN SUITS THE WHOLE FAMILY

Sweden, where nature reigns supreme

We love Sweden for its wild and preserved character. Less visited than its Scandinavian neighbours, it still offers vast regions where nature reigns supreme, with forests stretching as far as the eye can see, countless lakes and remote territories where you can travel for kilometres without crossing paths with a soul.

Hotel infrastructure is also less widespread and less developed than in some neighbouring destinations, particularly in the most remote regions. This is also part of Sweden’s appeal: a destination that must be earned, where immersion in nature and authentic experiences take precedence over the standardised comfort of major tourist destinations.

Summer and winter alike, Sweden reveals itself through the seasons, whether by canoe on the lakes, on foot along forest trails, in isolated cabins or at the heart of Lapland under the snow. An ideal destination for travellers in search of open spaces, tranquility and adventure, far from the most frequented routes.

When to visit Sweden

Budget to plan for

The budget for a tailor-made trip to Sweden depends on the season, the length of stay and the level of comfort sought.

In summer, expect around 3500 to 6000 per person for an 8 to 12 day independent itinerary, between forests, lakes and archipelagos, with a rental car and charming accommodations. For a stay in exceptional lodges, with fine dining and private experiences, plan for 7000 to 12000 per person instead.

In winter, a 7 to 10 day trip in Swedish Lapland, combining dog sledding, snowmobiling and other emblematic winter activities, comes to around 4500 to 8000 per person independently. For an exclusive immersion in upscale lodges, with full board, seasonal cuisine, private activities and personalised service, the budget ranges between 10000 and 18000

These estimates vary depending on dates and chosen services, flights, type of transfers, private or non-private activities and many other criteria.

Expert advice

For a first discovery of Sweden, we recommend a 2-week stay in order to explore the country’s contrasting landscapes, take the time to wander through villages with Scandinavian charm, follow lakes and forests stretching as far as the eye can see, and discover the Stockholm archipelago, with a stop in the capital to begin or end the trip.

3 to 4 weeks are ideal for travelling the country from north to south, discovering the vast expanses of Swedish Lapland, staying at the heart of preserved nature and, depending on the season, setting out to witness the midnight sun or the northern lights.

In one week, we would focus on a specific stage, allowing for a brief immersion, for those with less time available.
