Embark at Colón, gateway to the Panama Canal, and discover its rich historical and commercial past.
That same evening, the Le Bellot sets sail for an unforgettable adventure.

The following day, you explore the San Blas archipelago, made up of over 300 idyllic islets with white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Observe the marine wildlife and meet the Kuna communities, keepers of ancestral traditions in their bamboo villages.
This first port of call offers total immersion, blending nature, culture and preserved beauty.

Kuna Yala, Archipel des San Blas, Panama

Archipel des San Blas, Panama

Kuna Yala

Kuna Yala, also known as the San Blas Islands, and since 2010 as the Comarca de Guna Yala, is an autonomous indigenous territory made up of more than 360 islets scattered across 400 kilometres.
There are over 365 coral islands, each as striking as the next, barely rising above the water and often fringed by a turquoise lagoon. Of these, only thirty-eight islands hold villages, ranging from a few dozen inhabitants on the smallest to several thousand on the largest. They are always located strategically near the mouth of one of the twenty major rivers running along the coastline, which supply them with fresh water.
Beyond its exceptional landscapes, this archipelago offers the chance to discover the culture of the Kuna people. These 50,000 indigenous people have preserved their ancestral ways over the years; today they live autonomously, in community. Spend a few days among them and you will discover some of their traditions, and have the chance to admire and buy beautiful molas (Kuna embroidery).

Experience the unique crossing of the legendary Panama Canal.
This feat of engineering, begun in 1880 and completed in 1914, links the Atlantic to the Pacific through its locks and the artificial Gatún Lake.

Made up of three tiers of locks, it allows ships to be raised to the level of the artificial Gatún Lake by these veritable “water lifts”, avoiding the formidable passage around Cape Horn.

Head for the Darién National Park region, remote and wild. The park offers varied landscapes: rocky coastlines, mangroves, rivers and mountain ranges.
Observe the exceptional flora and fauna in an intact natural setting.
Meet the Emberá Amerindian community and discover their songs, dances and craftsmanship.
This stage combines preserved nature, authentic culture and immersion in a region off the beaten track.
A unique moment where history, biodiversity and local traditions intertwine along the water.

At Golfito, on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, venture into the heart of an intact primary rainforest, a true haven of biodiversity.
Observe monkeys, tropical birds and other exuberant species thriving amid lush vegetation, alongside preserved wild beaches.
Once banana plantation land, the region now reveals a rich and still-protected ecosystem, where every trail offers fascinating discoveries.
Explore the rivers and jungle trails, and meet local communities living in harmony with their environment, keepers of ancestral traditions.

Birdwatching au Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a paradise for amateur birdwatchers, and for good reason! Acting as a land bridge between the Americas, it is home to an impressive variety of tropical birds. Few places in the world can claim as many different bird species. More than 850 have been identified — more than the United States and Canada combined!
Popular Costa Rican birds include toucans, scarlet macaws, motmots, and the elusive, striking quetzal. As many as 150 different species have been spotted in a single day. From the dry tropics of Nicoya to the humid lowlands of the Caribbean coast, the extraordinary diversity of habitats and micro-ecosystems creates near-endless opportunities for birdwatching in Costa Rica.

After Golfito, continue your cruise to Puntarenas aboard the Le Bellot.
Enjoy spectacular panoramas between sea and rainforest, and watch dolphins and tropical birds from the deck.

Relax in the refined comfort of the Bellot, with ocean-view cabins, panoramic lounges and a spa. The voyage is punctuated by the spectacle of the waves and the activities on offer on board.
Savour every moment of this unique journey, where luxury, nature and wonder meet all the way to Puntarenas.
