ANJOZOROBE
Visit of the capital, then exploration of the Anjozorobe reserve, one of the last remnants of natural forest in Madagascar’s central highlands, rich in biodiversity.
Discovery of the flora and fauna of the protected Anjozorobe-Angavo forest, a primary forest rich in medicinal and endemic plants.
You’ll also have the chance to observe the famous Indri-Indri, the largest lemur species in Madagascar, as well as the golden-crowned sifaka, Propithecus tattersalli.
An authentic insight into local life through a community immersion in the village of Antsahabe, while taking in the typical highland landscapes.

ANDASIBE MANTADIA
The park comprises two protected areas: the Analamazaotra Special Reserve and Mantadia National Park.
Home to 14 lemur species, 51 reptile species, 84 amphibian species and 108 bird species. Orchids are also remarkably diverse, with over a hundred species recorded.

AKANIN’NY NOFY – Pangalanes Canal
Visit of the Palmarium reserve, accessible only by boat and known for its dozen or so lemur species roaming freely within the reserve: indri, sifaka, crowned lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, propithecus, and others.

Navigation across waterways and lagoons toward Tamatave, the capital of the East, through a series of natural lakes connected to one another. A midday stop on one of the lagoon’s beaches offers a glimpse of daily riverside life: fishing, river trade in agricultural produce, and more.

Other sites can also be visited for lemur observation:

5-night extension to the South of the island:
3 nights at Kaleta Hotel in Fort Dauphin, including a day in the Lokaro Bay
2 nights at Berenty Lodge in the Berenty reserve

6-night extension to Masoala:
2 nights at Relais de Masoala and exploration of Maroantsetra
1 night camping on Nosy Mangabe, the largest island in Antongil Bay
3 nights at Chez Arol ecolodge and exploration of Masoala National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site for its biodiversity) along several trails through primary rainforest in search of various lemur species, including the red ruffed lemur and the aye-aye, as well as numerous bird and raptor species.

We can combine the sites of your choice and also offer a beach extension in Sainte-Marie or Nosy Be, for example.
