The spirit of the journey

If you asked us to do better, we’d be hard pressed!
We have selected the very best Alaska has to offer. Three magical, complementary places, three distinct atmospheres in lodges that rival one another in authenticity and harmony. The purity of wilderness as one barely dares to dream of today.

Reconnect with the land and draw on Alaska’s energy to refocus on what matters.
Breathe in the scent of conifers, feel the cool wind on your skin, listen to the trickle of clear water and watch for the wildlife that is everywhere present in this territory. Come awaken your senses and taste the wonders offered by the great American north.

Quite simply the best way to discover Alaska.

After a first night in Anchorage upon arrival, your driver takes you to Lake Hood seaplane base, where you’ll take off for a floatplane flight to your first address, Stillpoint Lodge. Take in the aerial view of the Kenai Mountains and Kachemak Bay, where your pilot sets you down gently.

Three nights deep in nature will let you begin to unwind and take in the vast, pristine panoramas of this remote territory.

Stillpoint Lodge

After a short trip by boat or floatplane across the towering mountain fjord of Kachemak Bay, you reach Stillpoint Lodge, an exclusive property set within an isolated estate on the edge of the wilderness.
Here you'll find the perfect balance between grand architecture, Alaskan craftsmanship, Scandinavian style, simple nature-inspired design, and a touch of zen... all in a high-end style, with eco-friendly amenities.

The lodge offers log cabins built among the trees, preserving the natural features of the surroundings as much as possible.
The dining room looks out over the gardens, the mountains, and the ocean.
Unwind by the fireside in the lounge and share stories of the day's adventures and wildlife sightings with fellow travellers.
Soak in the hot tub and relax in the lodge's sauna after your days of excursions.

You'll have the chance to observe sea otters up close by kayak, watch for whales and birds, go in search of bears, or fish and explore glaciers and mountains.
Helicopter flights, hiking and kayaking trips, and yoga classes are also available.

You then return to Anchorage by floatplane, and your driver takes you on to Talkeetna. Along the way, you’ll visit a kennel where 30 to 60 sled dogs greet you, full of excitement. Discover their way of life and spend time with the puppies!
After a night in Talkeetna, board a helicopter bound for the exclusive Sheldon Chalet. Stay in a natural amphitheatre with glorious panoramas, Denali rising in the background.

Sheldon Chalet

Perched at roughly 1,700 metres on the Ruth Glacier at the heart of Denali National Park, Sheldon Chalet is a private property run by the Sheldon family themselves. This estate was built with one idea in mind: to offer the experience of a lifetime — true luxury immersion surrounded by panoramic views, each more breathtaking than the last.  Sheldon Chalet offers warm, modern spaces designed to bring guests together in conversation. Beyond the spectacular views, it also serves gourmet regional dishes crafted from local ingredients and paired with fine wines. The Sheldon Chalet observation deck is the ideal spot for helicopter adventures, watching the Northern Lights, or simply unwinding with a glass of champagne after a full day.

Reach the entrance of Denali National Park by air. Here you’ll experience Alaska’s wilderness in a different way: by train, aboard a luxurious panoramic dome car bound for Fairbanks.

After an overnight stop in Fairbanks, take off again for the most unusual stage of your journey. Who would have imagined vast sand dunes in Alaska, 40 km north of the Arctic Circle? Yet this is the striking sight awaiting you at Kobuk Valley National Park. No camels in this Sahara-like desert landscape, but caribou — half a million wild caribou migrate twice a year through the valley. Keep watch!

You’ll then reach your final stop by floatplane: the only lodge in Alaska located 100 km north of the Arctic Circle, the authentic Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge. Hand-built from local log timber, it opens the way to explore Gates of the Arctic National Park, accessible only by air. A breath of pure air to bring a unique journey to a fitting close.

Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge

Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge sits on the shore of Lake Iniakuk, with uninterrupted views over the Brooks Range, just a few kilometres from Gates of the Arctic National Park. Located 100 km north of the Arctic Circle, the lodge is reachable only by a 225 km flight from Fairbanks. Far from the crowds, it serves as a base for a wide range of activities across the Brooks Range, Gates of the Arctic National Park and Kobuk Valley National Park.

Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge offers a variety of activities: hiking, rafting, wildlife watching, canoeing and kayaking, land sailing, boat trips, flightseeing, and picnicking amid a herd of caribou, among others. Given the rugged terrain, activity sites can only be reached by floatplane. Each activity is tailored to guests' fitness level and comfort requirements, and is led by a guide.

Fly to Fairbanks, and after a last night in the city, head home to France with a head full of new memories and stars in your eyes.
