After a first night in Anchorage upon your arrival in Alaska, your driver takes you to Lake Hood. A floatplane awaits you there for a scenic flight to the first mountain lodge of your stay, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge. Settle in for 4 nights in a warm round-log retreat, nestled between a shimmering lake and the endless snow-capped peaks of the Tordrillo range.

During the summer season, the sky is a bright blue, the sun never fully sets, and the colours of wildflowers and lush forests form a postcard-worthy landscape. With the long hours of daylight, water sports are a wonderful asset of the lodge. Get your adrenaline going and try canoeing, fishing, jet skiing, rafting, paddleboarding or even wake-surfing.
