ANJOZOROBE
Visit of the capital, then exploration of the Anjozorobe reserve, one of the last remnants of natural forest in Madagascar’s central highlands, rich in biodiversity.
Discovery of the flora and fauna of the protected Anjozorobe-Angavo forest, a primary forest rich in medicinal and endemic plants.
You’ll also have the chance to observe the famous Indri-Indri, the largest lemur species in Madagascar, as well as the golden-crowned sifaka, Propithecus tattersalli.
An authentic insight into local life through a community immersion in the village of Antsahabe, while taking in the typical highland landscapes.
ANDASIBE MANTADIA
The park comprises two protected areas: the Analamazaotra Special Reserve and Mantadia National Park.
Home to 14 lemur species, 51 reptile species, 84 amphibian species and 108 bird species. Orchids are also remarkably diverse, with over a hundred species recorded.
AKANIN’NY NOFY – Pangalanes Canal
Visit of the Palmarium reserve, accessible only by boat and known for its dozen or so lemur species roaming freely within the reserve: indri, sifaka, crowned lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, propithecus, and others.
Navigation across waterways and lagoons toward Tamatave, the capital of the East, through a series of natural lakes connected to one another. A midday stop on one of the lagoon’s beaches offers a glimpse of daily riverside life: fishing, river trade in agricultural produce, and more.
