Day by day

Sample tailor-made journey, fully customizable

On the first day of your excursion, you will head to Kodiak Island, where you will spend your first night. The following morning, you will take a floatplane to Katmai Wilderness Lodge.

The following days will be devoted to observing and photographing the largest grizzlies in the world.

You will choose between guided bear viewing, guided hikes, sea kayaking, or a visit to the region’s archaeological sites. A licensed captain will guide you to the best spots in Kukak and the surrounding bays, depending on the time of day and the tides.

Return to Kodiak City for a final night. The last day will be devoted to the return to Anchorage.
