HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Renowned for its remarkable diversity of wildlife and landscapes, a safari in Hwange offers an authentic experience at the heart of the African bush.
Designated a national park in 1928, it is one of the oldest on the continent and the largest in Zimbabwe, covering 14,650 square kilometres, most of it deep Kalahari sand dotted with patches of mopane woodland. A network of waterholes, pumped artificially during the dry season, sustains more than 100 mammal species.

Stay for 3 nights at a camp that welcomes guests in a handful of luxurious yet discreet tents, designed to blend into the natural surroundings.
The camp allows guests to get close to Africa’s iconic species such as elephants, lions and buffalo, on guided walking and vehicle safaris.
With a focus on ecotourism and conservation, the camp works in partnership with local communities to preserve Hwange’s unique ecosystem.

MANA POOLS
For your final three nights, you will travel to Mana Pools, located to the east, aboard a light aircraft.
This exceptional site, set on the banks of the Zambezi River, marks the natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Mana Pools is one of the most pristine and authentic places in southern Africa, offering a rare tranquillity where life moves at the slow pace of the river.
Nestled within a forest of centuries-old trees, on the banks of a bend in the Zambezi, the camp will host you for three nights in an elegant, refined setting. With only six tents, it guarantees an intimate experience and highly personalised service.

Your days will be shaped by walking safaris in Mana Pools National Park, 4×4 safaris, and canoe excursions, all accompanied by expert guides.
In the evening, admire the sublime light of the sunset over the river and the Zambezi escarpment.

While safaris are possible year-round, the dry season, from June to August, is ideal for observing wildlife gathering around the few remaining waterholes. You will have the chance to see lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, zebras and more than 400 bird species. The region is also home to one of the highest concentrations of hippopotamus and crocodile, thanks to the river’s abundant water.

Without doubt, Mana Pools will leave you with your finest memories of Africa.
After these unforgettable moments, you will fly to Harare for your return journey.
