SKOURA PALM GROVE
Your journey begins in Ouarzazate. After approximately 1 hour by road, you will reach Skoura and the gates of Dar Ahlam, where you will stay for 3 nights.
Here, time stretches out and each day takes shape according to your wishes.
A walk through the palm grove, a romantic dinner in a secret setting, a desert excursion, a cooking lesson and discovery of the Food Lab, a hammam massage, or stargazing… every moment becomes a unique experience, designed just for you.
Would you like to spend a night under the stars in the desert, in complete privacy?
Dar Ahlam makes this possible with a unique experience: a night at its exclusive camp, set deep among the dunes near the dry bed of Lake Iriki. A mineral, poetic landscape, where silence and vastness become your only companions.
Would you like to discover a deeper, more authentic Morocco?
Dar Ahlam opens the doors of Tizkmoudine village, where a local initiative supports women in the community and showcases their traditional craftsmanship. A moment of exchange and insight that adds another dimension to the journey, combining human encounter with cultural immersion.
At Dar Ahlam, each month reveals a distinct character, shaped by nature and Berber traditions.
In January, the Berber New Year comes alive with songs, dances and warm feasts, precious moments shared with local residents.
February turns the palm grove into a striking landscape, covered in white almond blossom — a scene photographers seek out.
March, with its mild temperatures and soft light, invites long walks to explore the region at a peaceful pace.
In April, the sky fills with migratory birds, a fascinating sight for nature enthusiasts.
The rose festival in May, in the Dadès Valley, is a highlight where craftsmanship and celebration pay tribute to this emblematic flower.
June brings refreshment with meals taken with feet in the water, in the garden’s séguias, while July delights with freshly picked figs.
August is the month of starry nights, when the Milky Way lights up the sky in complete silence.
In September, the date harvest connects visitors with ancestral farming traditions.
October sees pomegranates ripen and sunsets turn red and gold.
November is dedicated to olive pressing, revealing traditional methods and rare flavors.
Finally, December brings the comfort of evenings by the fire, closing the year in a convivial atmosphere.
Dar Ahlam thus invites you to experience each season fully, in step with the authentic rhythm of nature and local culture.
