SINGITA MARA RIVER TENTED CAMP
After a first night in Arusha, you will reach this camp by light aircraft, located in the northwest of the Serengeti north of the Mara River, an area that is difficult to access. This isolated region is also very rarely visited. Comfort may consequently be somewhat lower due to its remoteness, but the sense of immersion is heightened here by the isolation and the presence of the Mara River. The river sees the passage of the Great Migration at the start of summer (between June and July) and sometimes again when the wildebeest and zebras move back south toward central Serengeti from October onward.
It is therefore possible to witness the spectacular scenes of herds plunging into the water to cross the river, battling the current and predators alike.
This camp has only six tastefully and delicately decorated tents… It offers an experience close to nature, true to the concept of chic safari.
During your 2-night stay at this charming lodge, enjoy accommodation close to perfection (fine dining, decor and impeccable service) along with exceptional safaris.

SINGITA FARU FARU / SASAKWA LODGE
After a light aircraft flight to the Singita airstrip, you will reach your second stop for a 2-night stay at a luxury Singita lodge, located within the private Grumeti Reserve.
Singita Faru Faru, which overlooks the plain and faces a waterhole, sits on a vast private concession bordering the western Serengeti corridor.
Safari conditions here are exceptional: only vehicles from the reserve’s three lodges are permitted, which greatly limits visitor numbers. Off-road driving is possible here, allowing close approach to the animals.
Singita Faru Faru is the ideal place for a restorative retreat in perfect harmony with nature.
Singita Sasakwa Lodge, for its part, offers a level of luxury unmatched in the Serengeti to this day; it is the most luxurious lodge in the Singita Grumeti Reserve, and is also part of the Relais & Châteaux collection.
Perched on the slope of Sasakwa hill, this English-style manor offers a spectacular view over the surrounding plains.
In an exceptional atmosphere reminiscent of an old English club, this lodge offers 9 cottages and villas in pink stone and slate with fireplace, veranda and private pool… Each immense, highly luxurious room has its own infinity pool overlooking the endless plains of the Serengeti. For horse-riding enthusiasts, a fine stable of 18 magnificent horses awaits, for those wishing to meet wild Africa on horseback.
At dawn, aboard open 4×4 vehicles and led by experienced guides, you will set off in search of thrills and memorable encounters, tracking Africa’s great animals.
Back at the lodge, a hearty breakfast will delight your palate and restore your energy before an optional guided walk in the bush.
After a flavorful meal, a gentle nap and a dip in your private pool, you will head out again for unforgettable wild moments and the exchange of traditions and experiences with your guides.
In the evening, around a pleasant campfire, on the terrace or in the elegant dining room, you will enjoy sharing stories of the day’s exhilarating wildlife tracking, while fine vintages delight even the most discerning palates.
The meals and wines on offer are exceptional, as is the quality of service that has built the reputation and renown of the Singita lodges.
