Madagascar
15 days / 12 nights
MASOALA NATIONAL PARK
After a night in Antananarivo, the adventure begins with a flight to Maroantsetra, followed by a boat transfer that takes you into another world entirely.
The Blue Lagoon expedition is offered as an exclusive formula, for a maximum of 2 to 4 people, ensuring privacy and a tailor-made experience.
Departures on Sundays (10 nights) and Wednesdays (11 nights). September to early January only.
You settle in at Masoala Forest Lodge, between dense jungle and a wild beach.
For 4 nights, you experience total immersion in Madagascar’s wilderness:
. Exploration of the primary rainforest
. Lemur observation (including the Red Ruffed Lemur)
. Snorkeling right in front of the lodge
. Kayak and pirogue excursions
. Night walks in search of rare species
Here, nature is everywhere: intense, vibrant, ever-present.
CAP MASOALA & BLUE LAGOON
Following nearly 40 kilometres of wild coastline, you reach a region of raw, untouched beauty.
Welcome to Cap Masoala: no road access, no network, a true end of the world.
Cap Masoala offers a rare experience: rediscovering the planet as it once was, with endless beaches, warm and calm waters, fringing reefs, mangroves and lush coastal forests.
Accessible only by boat, this place is entirely cut off from the world.
For a long time, Cap Masoala only revealed itself to the most adventurous travellers, through kayak expeditions punctuated by temporary camps at isolated sites such as Nosy Behento. In 2018, a more permanent base was established: a charming wooden cabin named Crusoe’s Cabin. Initially confidential and reserved for a private circle, it is now the anchor point of the Blue Lagoon expedition.
Depending on the spirit of the trip, you can alternate between the simple, warm comfort of this cabin and nights under canvas on remote islands such as Nosy Nepato — true Robinson Crusoe interludes, where the essentials take on their full meaning.
The camp remains deliberately light and immersive, with dome tents, safari showers and minimalist facilities, while Crusoe’s Cabin offers a welcome pause in comfort, with running water and more elaborate amenities.
During your 2-night stay at Cap Masoala, your days follow the rhythm of nature:
. Exploration of the Blue Lagoon
. Snorkeling in secret coves
. Kayaking among deserted islets
. Lunch on pristine beaches
. Sunset by an abandoned lighthouse
. Night walk in search of further lemur species
Here, luxury means space. Silence. A total absence of crowds.
MASOALA NATIONAL PARK
Back at the lodge, the pace slows, and these final 4 nights allow you to deepen the experience:
. Further forest exploration
. Meeting with local Betsimisaraka communities
. Boat trip along a river lined with mangroves
. Massage facing the ocean
. A final sunset at sea
A complete immersion in nature, culture and disconnection.
Return by boat to Maroantsetra, then flight to Antananarivo.
You leave behind one of the last wild territories on the planet.
