In our “we love the Green Season in southern Africa” series, we dug up a few photos from our archives, taken during a trip to Namibia in April.
We ran into heavy storms that made some tracks “tricky”. It took some flexibility and a bit of patience, and we had to give up a night under the stars during a walk in the NamibRand reserve.
But what a pleasure it was to see the Namib Desert in bloom, the Sossusvlei dune and its ephemeral waterhole together for a brief moment; to admire these grand landscapes, capped with threatening clouds and bathed in a light that only the rainy season can produce so vividly.
Rare moments, possible only during the rainy season.
So that our clients can experience these same moments, Étendues Sauvages’ experts design each journey around the season, making the most of every region. Pacing the trip so that each stage becomes an opportunity for a unique experience, taking the time to savour it fully.
Wanting to go fast, to do too much, is never worthwhile.
But that’s another story…
