Tailor-made trip to Iceland

Just three hours by plane, Iceland is a country of extraordinary beauty, authentic and intense.
A country where nature is still in the making.
An island where landscapes forged by ice and fire exist side by side. Fjords, immense volcanoes and inland glaciers, national parks, geysers, hot springs, lakes dotted with icebergs — nature's own display.
It's a real shock!

The regions of Iceland
In the south, the Golden Circle (best avoided in the middle of the day during mid- and high season, as it gets far too crowded) with Gullfoss waterfall, the Vatnajökull glaciers and the Jökulsárlón lagoon forms a first great journey within the journey.
In the west, Húsafell and the Snæfellsnes peninsula combine lava flows, cliffs and fishing villages, while the Westfjords offer waterfalls, cliffs and puffin colonies in a notably more peaceful setting.
In the north, the Diamond Circle and Lake Mývatn offer moon-like landscapes. Húsavík is the place for whale watching.
At the heart of the island lie the Highlands of Landmannalaugar and Kerlingarfjöll: a coloured desert, accessible only in summer, and only to the most adventurous and/or hiking enthusiasts.

When to travel to Iceland?
In summer, from June to August, nights are bright, roads are open and the Highlands are accessible. It's also puffin season (in June and July). In winter, from October to March, days are short, landscapes are snow-covered, and the ice caves of Vatnajökull can be visited. The Northern Lights are possible, but never guaranteed.
Spring and autumn suit those who prefer quieter landscapes.
In any case, the weather in Iceland is never predictable. You have to accept conditions that are... changeable!

Our way of travelling in Iceland
We combine a private guide with freedom of itinerary, staying in places with character: design lodges, small guesthouses, secluded addresses along the fjords. Between stages, we stop at a little-known hot spring or step away from the busiest sites. This is travel of a different kind, immersed in the elements and attuned to the forces of the Earth.
Jules Verne imagined that a “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” could begin in Iceland. Each day here, you'll see just how right he was.

A journey designed with you
Each trip is built around your wishes, the season and your pace — never from a catalogue.
Tell us about your project: our specialists will then build your journey, inevitably different from any other.

When to travel to Iceland
